Privacy Policy

DocScoop respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our document collection platform. By using DocScoop, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

• Account information: Name, email address, and organization details when you register.
• Documents uploaded: Files you or your clients upload through the platform, including metadata such as file name, size, and type.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns to improve our service. We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not track individuals.

• Provide the service: Process uploads, manage engagements, and display your dashboard.
• Follow-up workflow: Keep reminder history and missing-item context. Provider-authenticated email delivery is not released yet.
• Improve the product: Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to enhance features and fix issues.

The public service is delivered over HTTPS and hosted on European infrastructure. Uploaded objects are kept in non-public storage and exposed through expiring presigned URLs when access is requested. We do not currently publish an independent at-rest encryption certification, a DocScoop-specific backup and restore report, or a formal uptime SLA.

• Brevo: Used to send transactional emails such as reminders and notifications.
• LemonSqueezy: Used to process subscription payments securely.
• Google Sign-In: Used for optional authentication. Google receives your email when you sign in with Google.
• Plausible Analytics: Used for privacy-respecting website analytics. No personal data collected, no cookies used.

We do not sell personal data. Service providers receive only the information needed for the functions described above; a formal, complete subprocessor register is still being prepared.

• Access: Ask what account information is associated with you.
• Delete: Submit a deletion request to the privacy contact below. There is no self-service deletion control today.
• Export: Submit an export request to the privacy contact below. There is no instant in-product export today.

We use minimal, functional cookies only. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Our analytics solution (Plausible) is privacy-respecting and does not collect personal data. See our Cookie Policy for details.
