DocScoop respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our document collection platform. By using DocScoop, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

• Account information: Name, email address, and organization details when you register.
• Documents uploaded: Files you or your clients upload through the platform, including metadata such as file name, size, and type.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns to improve our service. We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not track individuals.

• Provide the service: Process uploads, manage engagements, and display your dashboard.
• Send reminders: Deliver automated and manual reminder emails to your clients on your behalf.
• Improve the product: Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to enhance features and fix issues.

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Our infrastructure is hosted on Hetzner servers in the European Union. We use isolated Docker Swarm networks, private database connections, and presigned URLs for file access. Backups are automated and stored securely.

• Brevo: Used to send transactional emails such as reminders and notifications.
• LemonSqueezy: Used to process subscription payments securely.
• Google Sign-In: Used for optional authentication. Google receives your email when you sign in with Google.
• Apple Sign In: Used for optional authentication. Apple receives your email when you sign in with Apple.
• Plausible Analytics: Used for privacy-respecting website analytics. No personal data collected, no cookies used.

We do not sell, share, or provide your data to any other third parties.

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export: Download your data in a standard format at any time.

We use minimal, functional cookies only. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Our analytics solution (Plausible) is privacy-respecting and does not collect personal data. See our Cookie Policy for details.
